09h00 – Totally overcast and dull it continued to rain overnight, gently but steadily, just what is needed. P is off on a new 20km run.
10h00 – Purged the heating system of air again this morning it being off all last night.
15h00 – Finished installing a bleed valve for the underfloor heating on the upper mezzanine – ‘job done’ as they appear to say in the UK now. Heating back to normal, visitors due soon. Roger, Veronica, Frances with Mick, Jill, Ben and Charlie all came to visit and have afternoon coffee and cakes. P had made a splendid cardamon cake which tasted really fruity and juicy. She said there was no fruit in it mainly cardamon and cinnamon, the base was polenta.
